For our fourth ever Sexperiment, we invited Lioness users to give the CBD pre-lubes, suppositories, and flower their rightful place on their nights stand. The goal? To have a definitive answer to the question, “Will CBD make my orgasms better?”
And y’all…CBD-ing is believing.
A Quick review of the Lioness community poll & hypotheses
Before getting down and dirty with cannabidiol, each Sexplorer was prompted to formulate a hypothesis and vote in a poll before beginning their Sexperiment.
Community Poll: How often do you use CBD during sex or masturbation?
Despite how common it has become, it appears Lioness users aren’t masturbating with CBD very often. Only 13% of participants reported frequent CBD use, while 41% said they never use it.
Hypothesis 2: Do you believe CBD will make my orgasms and arousal better, worse, or stay the same?
Even though a whopping 78% of participants reporting low to no use of CBD, the general consensus was that CBD would improve orgasms.
Here’s how they voted, with only 3% feeling like CBD would make their orgasms worse:
The Results: Does CBD improve orgasms?
According to the data, CBD appears to increase quality of orgasm but not necessarily duration. Let’s get into the data:
- Star Rating INCREASED | CBD orgasms averaged a 4.2 star rating versus a 3.3 baseline orgasm rating
- Orgasm Strength INCREASED | On average, CBD orgasms reached a peak force of 79/47 gF (compared to 68.36 gF baseline) and only dropped to 41.61 gF between contractions (compared to 38.12 gF baseline)
- Orgasm Duration DECREASED | Whereas the average orgasm lasted 41 seconds during baseline sessions, CBD sessions landed at 33 seconds.
- Time to Orgasm DECREASED | On average, participants were reaching orgasm 1 minute and 25 seconds earlier than during their baseline sessions
The Conclusion: CBD does improve orgasms
From a purely numerical standpoint, yes, CBD does improve orgasms. What’s particularly interesting about this Sexperiment is that orgasm duration decreased yet participants still rated their orgasms higher than without CBD.
Overall, this Sexperiment is a really great example of how important it is to view your sexual satisfaction holistically. Just because you’re having an orgasm, doesn’t mean you’re having a good one, and just because you’re having more, less, stronger, or shorter O’s doesn’t mean you’re not having the best ones for you.
Here’s to another month down, and a new month starting! Ready to advance your orgasm with us?
