I Had The Best Orgasm With Weed Lube And I Have Data To Prove It

Lioness Vibrator Cannabis Orgasm Data

Okay, people. I’m breezing right past the acquaintance phase between us because I have to show all of you the best and longest orgasm I’ve ever had thanks to the Foria's cannabis lube.

Although building a company can be very stressful, building a smart vibratorcompany has its orgasmic perks. We get to try to see how our orgasms change with different factors (different techniques, health effects, and yes, using cannabis) and call it work. So, I went to a dispensary and bought some lubricant made with cannabis oil called Foria Pleasure and worked from home... in the name of hard, professional work and science.

What I look like doing intense orgasm research with my Lioness.

I had my doubts and honestly rolled my eyes at some of the Foria Pleasure reviews mentioning “euphoria” and “life-changer”...but then I tried it. Holy balls, people. I have to spread the good word...about the BEST AND LONGEST ORGASM I’VE EVER HAD.

What is Cannabis/ Marijuana/ Weed Lube?

We go much more in depth on this topic in our Weed Lube Guide (which you can check out here), but in a nutshell: Weed lube is meant to enhance sexual pleasure, sensations, and orgasms for people with vaginas due to the effect of THC around and inside the vaginal area.

Some companies make oil-based lubricants with a mixture of liquid coconut oil and cannabis oil — Foria and Quim are two examples of this. Take heed though: if you are using condoms or another form of barrier protection during sex, do not use oil-based lubes with them. It can break down the latex!

If you are using barrier protection or sex toys, the safest way to go is to use water-based lubricants, which Quim, Kush Queen, and Velvet Swing make.

Although weed lube is generally called a “lubricant,” it really is more of a pre-lubricant since it’s recommended that you apply it 15-45 minutes before having sex or masturbating to allow the THC in the lube to take full effect.

If you're familiar with cannabis products, it's more similar to edibles in that it'll take a little time for your body to process — but fortunately not as long as edibles, which is usually good since if you are using lube and touching yourself, you'll want to get going ASAP!

Basically, you’re giving your vagina and clitoris time to get a li'l high. If you don't give your body the time to absorb and activate the ingredients, you may be missing out on that extra kick during your pleasure session.

I followed the Foria website’s directions to “apply 4-8 sprays directly onto the clitoris, inner and outer labia, and inside the vagina.” I went with the full 8 sprays mostly focusing on the internal application and clitoris and then waited for 20 minutes. While the actual process of spraying lube on yourself and then watching the clock isn’t the sexiest of actions, with every minute that passed, I felt a deepening of sensations where everything felt more and more relaxed and tingly.

What the Orgasm with Foria Pleasure Lube was Like: The Data

Now for the juicy, intimate stuff since you and I are best friends now. I used our Lioness Vibrator in order to track my arousal and orgasm by measuring how my pelvic floor muscles and vaginal walls were squeezing during the masturbation session.

So for comparison, here’s a data graph of how my vaginal muscles were squeezing during a normal masturbation session. It’s a fairly regular masturbation session for me and what most of my sessions look like with an obvious rhythmic orgasm at the end. This is without using any of the Foria pot lube:

Now here’s the data graph when I used the Lioness with the Foria marijuana lube:

My masturbation session with the Foria weed lube. Holy. Krakatoa.

Holy. Freaking. Moly. With the weed lube, not only did the orgasm itself feel deeper and more intense, it was like that for the entire masturbation session. My whole body felt more relaxed, open, and naturally lubricated than normal. I felt an increase in arousal, allowing me to be fully immersed in the enjoyment. I read a review on Foria's website that described it as “stimulation in HD,” which is basically the best way to describe the sensation.

Key Things I Saw Change When I Used Weed Lube

Foria marijuana lube - orgasms without/with session graphs

The data graphs side-by-side so you can see the huge difference!

  1. My orgasm was 9x longer than normal. My orgasms normally are about 10-20 seconds long, but with the weed lube, my orgasm lasted about 3 whole MINUTES.

  2. My orgasm was way more intense. As you can see in the graphs, my normal sessions don’t have very much range in my vaginal wall muscles squeezing and relaxing before the orgasm. However, with the weed lube, my vaginal muscles were squeezing and relaxing like crazy due to the heightened sensitivity and arousal, giving me an overall stronger orgasm.

  3. My whole masturbation session lasted 3x longer than normal. One TMI thing I’ve learned while being a part of Lioness is that I’m a faster masturbator than most. Most of my sessions last about 2 minutes...I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing, but I know a lot of people who see my graphs like to point it out in their surprise while I fluster to try to come up with a reason. With the weed lube though, I lasted for 5 minutes and 28 seconds...and every second was so enjoyable I didn’t want it to stop.

  4. It didn’t make me high. It didn’t make me what I would consider a classic psychoactive high like if I had eaten an edible or smoked. I read afterwards that this is because the THC doesn’t get absorbed into the bloodstream when applied to the vagina. However, if you ingest the lube orally or use it anally, there’s a chance of getting high depending on your tolerance.

  5. This is my holy grail for intense orgasms. I'm taking pot lube with me everywhere I go. Hello better sex life and better sexual experiences!

Where to Buy Weed Lube

In the United States, you can only purchase weed/THC lube in states where cannabis is legal. You can buy it at a dispensary in-stores, or some dispensaries offer home delivery services you can use after going through a signup process.

If you're in a state or country where cannabis is not legal, you might be able to purchase hemp-based CBD lubricants to change up your experience, though it may not have the same effect for you as a THC-infused lube would. You can check out our guide to CBD lubricants here and see if it's something you'd be interested in. I'd still recommend trying it out if you are interested (and you can read my review of Foria Awaken, their CBD lubricant here!).

With that said, here are three California-based businesses that sell cannabis lubricants I like!

  • ForiaWellness: Foria lube comes in two types: Foria Pleasure, which is the one that has THC, and Foria Awaken, which is their THC-free line made with CBD and kava. Foria Pleasure is an 1 ounce bottle with 2.5mg of THC per spray. You can get Foria Pleasure in California, Colorado, and Canada and Foria Awaken anywhere in many parts of the world (you can check if you can get it in your country here). Retails for $48.
  • Quim: It's a company founded by two women (yay!) and my co-founder Liz wrote about her experience using their cannabis lube here. They add a hint of tea tree to their formula for its antiseptic properties. They produce both latex-safe/water-based and oil-based (not latex-safe) lubes, so you have more options there. Their cannabis lube is only available in California right now but their CBD lube is available anywhere in the United States. It’s a 2 ounce bottle with 193mg of THC total. Retails for $48.

P.S. We're offering a limited-time Lioness/Quim pleasure pack where you can basically get a full bottle of Quim's CBD lubricant for free with your purchase of a Lioness! Check it out here!
  • Velvet Swing: Founded by Mistress Matisse when she realized the power of cannabis to enhance people’s sex lives. It’s also worth noting Velvet Swing is water-based/water-soluble and safe for latex condom use. It’s a 0.44 ounce bottle with 1.5mg of THC and 0.5mg of CBD per spray. Available for purchase in Washington State and California. Retails for $25.
